Dempsey Wood Products has served the Southeast pine and hardwood market for many years. Our products include chips for paper production, pine and domestic hard wood lumber, and landscaping mulch.

The wood industry has evolved over the years, however our desire to produce a quality product and provide great service has not changed.

SAWMILL OPERATIONS

Our sawmill operation includes both pine and hardwood production with state-of-the-art equipment where we efficiently convert trees into a vast number of marketable products. Member SLMA, Southern Lumber Manufacturing Association.

KILN DRIED LUMBER PRODUCTION

Efficient Dry Kilns and a planer production line provides us the ability to market top quality kiln dried lumber for both the housing and industrial markets.

PALLET LUMBER PRODUCTION

High productive remanufacturing production lines gives us the ability to produce a large volume of pallet lumber to be sold to pallet manufaturers needed for today's growing market. Member NWPCA, National Wooden Pallet and Container Association.

QUALITY CHIPS

At both the chipmill and sawmill we produce pine and hardwood premium quality de-barked chips that service the paper industry and export markets.

LANDSCAPING MULCH

The bark raw product is shredded into high quality pine and hardwood mulch to be used for landscaping.

SAWDUST

In the daily process of manufacturing lumber, no part of the tree is unused. The logs are cut into cants, the bark is sold as mulch for landscaping, the chips for the paper industry and sawdust for fuel.
